An AI-powered companion designed to help people build emotional resilience through reflection-first interactions.

The product uses conversational journaling to understand emotional states and patterns, then responds with personalized, context-aware meditation experiences.

Rather than offering static content, the system focuses on long-term habit formation, trust, and pacing — guiding users gently over a structured 90-day journey while respecting their moment-to-moment needs.

Project Goal:

The objective was to move beyond the "static library" model of traditional wellness apps to create a proactive, reflection-first AI companion. The mission was to build a system that doesn't just provide content, but actively listens and adapts—guiding users through a structured 90-day emotional resilience journey that feels deeply personal, human, and trustworthy.

My Role: Design Partner

As the Design Partner, I worked directly with the founders to take the product from 0 to 1. My role transcended traditional UI/UX execution; I acted as a strategic collaborator in defining the product’s core soul.

Founder Collaboration: Worked side-by-side with the C-level team to translate their vision into a tangible product strategy and a viable roadmap.

Product Strategy: Influenced the 90-day curriculum and determined how AI should intervene to balance user challenge with emotional safety.

Experience Ownership: Led the entire design lifecycle, from high-level conceptualization and AI interaction logic to the final high-fidelity visual interface.

Key Insights:

Our design decisions were driven by three critical psychological and behavioral observations:

Static Content Fatigue: Users often abandon wellness apps because "one-size-fits-all" meditations feel disconnected from their immediate reality. Solution: AI-generated experiences that use the user’s own reflections as the foundation.

The "Blank Page" Syndrome: Traditional journaling is intimidating. Solution: A conversational, prompt-based interface that feels like a dialogue with a supportive mentor rather than a chore.

Trust is Built Through Pacing: In emotional health, moving too fast feels clinical and cold. Solution: A "gentle-pacing" framework that limits progress to daily increments, mirroring the natural speed of human emotional growth.
